Jeune adulte en dilettante, Hippo rencontre une normalienne qui lui offrira l'occasion d'Ã©voluer...enfin s'il le voulait vraiment ! Une fable drÃ´le mais sans concessions. Il y avait un 'avant' et un 'aprÃ¨s' Hippo.

Un branleur professionnel tombe amoureux d'une normalienne. Le passage Ã l'age adulte sera difficile pour Hippo qui dÃ©ambule dans Paris, entretenu par les traffics de shit de son petit frere et par des parents qui ne le comprennent plus . Cette vie faite de filles, de partie de poker et de soirÃ©es entre potes est un classique du film Ã©tudiant Ã Paris. Le personnage d'Hippo est portÃ© Ã merveille par Hippolite Girardot qui trouve lÃ son meilleur Role. Les dialogues sont percutants, Ã©mouvant drole et le film a une vraie sensibilitÃ© et de vrais moments de poesie (la scene de la tour eiffel). C'est le premier film d'Eric Rochant qui malgrÃ© une carriere cahotique est probablement l'un des meilleurs metteur en scene du cinÃ©ma francais . Pour moi, par de nombreux cotÃ©s c'est presque un film auto biographique
