Enjoy the film overall also the plot was enjoyable. It's more for common folks though.

My wife and I almost skipped this movie due to the critic ratings. I'm glad we took the chance and saw it anyway. The Coopers are a family at its best and worst. You'll likely laugh and cry several times. It's a movie worth watching!

I'm not sure why this movie has low ratings. Five of us went to a packed house and everyone in the place was laughing and have a great time. Don't get me wrong it's not the best movie I've seen but it's very funny. It is brilliantly and brutally scripted with believable portrayals. If you enjoy republican and Christian bashing then that's an added bonus. That might be why some folks dislike it

I love cutesy Christmas movies and this one even had a little more substance than the usual. My wife and I loved it and have decided to make it part of our own holiday traditions each year. I'm sorry the critics don't enjoy a genuine feel-good movie!
