Meh. Love Shack is a VERY mediocre mockumentary about the attempt to complete the last porn film of a legendary porn director who recently died. A dream team of fictional porn stars of the past and present are assembled, and they have seven days to make what will hopefully be the adult flick of the year. It tries desperately to be funny, but fails at nearly every attempt. It's surprisingly tame, uninteresting, and just generally boring. This could have been a solid movie if the execution would have been as good A's the original idea, but nope, nowhere close. I only watched this because of Diora Baird (her part is incredibly small, so anyone else with that idea should be warned). It wasn't worth it. If you're looking for a good mockumentary, skip it. If you're looking for a good raunchy comedy, skip it. If you're looking for a good movie in general, skip it. There's nothing to recommend about Love Shack.

For what this is, it's hysterical. Caught it on Cable a few months ago, and laughed my butt off. It's campy, very silly, and fun. Lighten up (or light one up), and enjoy.

It was pretty good for being one of those movies you pass on television when you are bored and just flipping though channels trying to find something interesting. It was funny at some spots, but you have to a special sense of humor to find a lot of it entertaining. I have seen so much that is worse than this.

This has some very funny scenes, and having watch some of the real TV documentaries about the industry it's very funny to see this one. It starts of very sincere and you could actually believe it was a documentary, but at a point you start looking at their names and their specialties and fields of work. Well its a very good imitation and all setup as a real docu, but just much more fun. It's still just a film you see once, so it doesn't have that much of a story to tell and does not leave you with anything but some laughs, but that's all right. I did enjoy the music by (i think they were called) "The Pubes", very nice lyrics and catching tunes :)
