I think my favourite aspect of this documentary was the juxtaposition of the earnest "Method" approach with the scholarly musings of members of the Royal Shakespeare Company. On one side, you have a sort of deliberate ignorance (maybe innocence is the better word), aiming for purity of character development and motivation, and on the other, actors who simply know Shakespeare within their bones. Which is the correct approach? Who cares? The play's the thing! (Wrong play, I know!)

u wanna take some drama classes !! here's ur extreme pleasant way 2 do it :p ur faculty staff: Kevin Spacey, Alec Baldwin, Winona Ryder, Aidan Quinn & the greatest Al Pacino in both seatsas an actor & a director ... the film is not just a new produce for shakespeare's play richard III ... its also included commentary about it from the actors as themselves & people on the street too .... it's educational experience y may love or hate ... for me ... i LOVE it :D

A fabulously funny and consistently riveting documentary, brimming with insight into both acting and one of Shakespeare's harder plays. A pleasure and a delight.
