Richard Gere, all his charm is evident in this movie. Diane Keatons performance was top rated.

Wow! A really dark and gritty film. Controversial and disturbing. You will be shocked to see Diane Keaton in this light. So sad that this was based on a true story :(

Interpretação de entrega absoluta por parte de Diane Keaton faz toda a diferença num drama perigoso e intenso, mas nem por isso muito organizado nas suas ideias sobre a ressaca sexual dos anos 70. A realização aos solavancos de Richard Brooks também não ajuda muito e o interesse do filme parece estar constantemente dependente do desempenho de Diane Keaton, que precede em muitos anos todas aquelas que obtiveram excelentes resultados ao renderem-se de corpo e alma à tirania emocional do Lars Von Trier (Nicole Kidman, Bjork, Charlotte Gainsbourg). O facto de não ser o filme mais animador pode também ter ajudado a que esteja hoje meio esquecido nos arquivos da Paramount à espera de ser recuperado quando for necessário reavaliar a Diane Keaton ou isso.
