This is the ultimate Led Zeppelin DVD. Two discs and 5 hours and 20 minutes of live Zeppelin, rare footage and rarer interviews, not to mention promo's, this is a must have for any Led Zeppelin fan, be they die-hard or just starting out. The first disc sees the band playing at The Royal Albert Hall in 1970. The set includes some classic early Zep tracks and sadly the film containing "Heartbreaker" and "Thank You" was too badly damaged to use. The extras on disc one include a promo video for "Communication Breakdown" and some live performances from the continent (Paris and Denmark). Disc two starts with "The Immigrant Song", taken from the live album, "How The West Was Won", which accompanied this DVD. Next we have some tracks that were left out of "The Song Remains The Same". Following on from that, we have a great selection of tracks from their stint at Earls Court in 1975. Ending the DVD with songs from Knebworth 1979, this DVD is a tour-de-force featuring the Greatest Rock band ever

great sound (except for trampled underfoot is played a little to fast)

Zep caught on film per-excellance. This works so well because it captures Zeppelin in all stages of their career. While Song Remains the Same seems tedious at times, this is just one great watch. All of Zeppelin's best can be found on here, with plenty of great performances individually. The outtakes here of SRTS are better then what is actually in the movie in some cases. A Godsend to Zep fans who weren't able to see them live.

Zep fans, this your bible. This wildly engaging dvd presents the hammer of the gods in proper form: live on stage. Disc one features the Albert Hall '71 performance, with harrowing instrumentals like Page's 'white summer', and Bonzo's famed 'moby dick', and disc 2 features superior versions of 'trampled underfoot', 'in my time of dying' and even 'stairway' played with a double neck Gibson les paul. the song remains the same.
