Fly on the wall directing, and good cinematography make the voyeur aspect really work, you even feel guilty for being an observer. Violent scene between father and daughter is rough when you know it's real.

Great doc. One of those that makes you realize how lucky you are.

This is an amazing film! You can see how different the life would be if you were in this girl's situation. Everyone has a different life though. This is completely unfamiliar to me as I only know about China as a tourist!!

It's an intense and tense time, unsurprisingly, and superbly realized by Lixin's unflinching yet compassionate eye, the Zhang family his microcosm for the Chinese macrocosm.

A good documantary (although I don't know how some shots can be made) talking about the life of those workers from Western China and working in Gunagdong. Life is difficult. Every Lunar Year, workers back to their villages with great difficulty. Tha parents believe they earn money for next generation's future but it seems that their children repeat their story.
