I attended the first showing of this on opening day and absolutely loved this film. I had only been to LaBare once at the time, but since viewing the film, have learned about each of the guys and had the opportunity to hang out with them. All are quite humble, down-to-earth and each one has their own artistic talent that they bring to their acts on stage. This movie only gives you a minute idea of what goes on behind the scenes. I do, however, recommend visiting the club before or after seeing the film if you have never been!

This essay/documentary on La Bare, one of the most famous and renown male stripper establishment in the world. Through interviews of the dancers, managers and patrons, we penetrate a unique world and see what's going on behind the curtains. This is well shot, entertaining, fun and somehow crowd pleasing but read between the lines and you will learn and understand a lot more about human nature and the way this underground world function. Beyond the bodies, the ladies and the parties, you will get a unique insight into the mechanism of a long lasting establishment offering something unique and timeless.

Not only a vivid, multi-faceted look into the world of male dancing, but quite possibly the best soundtrack of the year, from Flaming Lips to RJD2, it's a must see!

No central character and basically just footage to show a lifestyle made it incredible boring and pretty much pointless. It has no flow and no real outcome it's trying to achieve. A pretty poorly-done documentary.
