Kung Fu Dunk (2008)

Shi-Jie is a brilliant martial artist from the Kung Fu School. One day, he encounters a group of youths playing basketball and shows off how easy it is for him, with his martial arts training, to do a Slam Dunk. Jay chou's performance is quite average and his role does not require much acting actually, very simple character. The actions and computer effects are quite fabulous but the shots by jay chou into the basket are rather fake coz can tell is computer effect. I actually hate the ending because it is quite predictable and cliche.

Quite nice. Jay Chow's not handsome, yet he's so charming with his music and in this movie, his basetkball look! With little touching scene about "family love", this movie's quite nice!

4 stars because it's better than expected. Jay was so-so, but all the supporting actors are pretty good, especially his manager, and the gangster boss. All the random famous actors in his movie make the movie much more interesting. I guess I just enjoy cheap laughs.
