Gorgeously photographed, edited with a crackle, lavishly populated and designed, this is a sheer non-mind-taxing crowd-pleaser

It's okay for the martial arts, but some of the story just makes no sense.

If you loved "D'jango" you'll love Kundo. Loved it.

The Good, The Bad and The Korean. A martial arts movie that seems heavily influenced by the "western" genre, Kundo has a classic revenge storyline, excellent costumes, greath choreography and moments of comical genius. If you're like me and just wish to be entertained for 2 and a bit hours without having to over-analyse everything afterward than this is the movie for you.

Very well directed. The nesting flashbacks can get ridiculous. Great action sequences are slowed by unnecessary establishment scenes. "Though it bogs down at times, Yoon Jong-bin's kimchi Western is a rousing, lavishly produced delight." -Richard Kuipers, Variety
