More dignified than Disneyfied, this is an enchanting, life-affirming animation of love and redemption, made with no small measure of maturity and care -- along with an all too rare respect for the art of storytelling.

Arguably the most nudity I've ever seen in a movie, ever. But it's not sexual at all. In fact, it's quite cute, and artistically well-done. The colors are absolutely beautiful.

Outstanding cartoon about an African tale. So different from the usual Disney classics, yet so much beautiful, If I had kids, this would be one of the first movies I'd show them.

it's so refreshing to see something esle other than the Disney bullsh!t. So refreshing to see something from the African culture. Beatufully illustrated, great story. Too bad stuff like this hardly reaches the shores of North America.
