its a old style monster suit movie with cheezy action scenes, whats not to love? 5 star.

Kibakichi is a werewolf samurai. He has a very awesome look. A mix between Native-American hobo and Road Warrior samurai. The movie was along the same quality as Shogun Assassin. A medium amount of blood and a goodly amount of swordplay. The monsters reminded me of the bad guys in Power Rangers. A little cheesy, but very Japanese. Some of the characters had very excellent tattoos, especially the woman. The plot was very mediocre, but also very Japanese. The outsiders come to the village and destroy the way of life. It doesn't get more nationalist than that. I have seen endless movies of this type. I hope the sequel is better. I won't hold my breath.

this is definately lowbudget, but the story is just so intresting. Could humans and Yoki(demons) live together in piece?

Fun flick and almost had a Nightbreed feel to it. Love the monster designs. Especially the Werewolf and Kappa creature designs were the best. Low budget but still well worth checking out if your into Asian cinema.
