The philosophical depth unearthed in Kedi is astounding.

A heart-warming, charming affair that cat lovers will fall head-over-heels for.

Sheila O'Malley 10 Feb 2017

I am a cat owner, I admit, but even I was surprised at the power of Kedi. Where did all that emotion come from? It's because what Torun really captures in her unexpectedly powerful film is kindness in its purest form.

A relaxed look at life via cats. Very charming.

Is this the best structured movie of all time? No. Could it flow a bit better? Yes. But no other film gives justice to this special place, the cats, and the human need for these cats like this film does.
