I was totally touched with this mother-daughter relationship. A lot of different emotions that makes you feel identified with the characters. It's a master piece which reminds us that there is nobody like Almodovar to write and bring to the big screen, women relationships and their feelings. Everything is great, the story, the ambientation, acting, directing... It's a must!!

Pedro Almodovar never disappoints me although he last couple of films have not been his best. With Julieta he returns to his roots with a story about a fascinating woman. It's one of his best films in long time. It's an emotional ride filled with regrets and sorrows as Julieta tells us her story. Pedro you have done it again for this fan.

Thank the movie Gods for Pedro Almodovar. One of my favorite filmmakers of all time. He has kind gone away from type of movies he makes best with his last two project (though The Skin I'm In is a great movie though not for the usual Almodovar reasons) Juliete is in kin my All About My Mother (my fave), Volver, Bad Education, Women on The Verge....., etc. He makes some risky choices but they work. A must see.
