This is an uncromprimsing fil on the life and music of Joe Strummer. From his pub rock days with the 101`ers to world domination by the Clash and then onto his later work with the underated Mescaleros. Julien Temple shows Strummer warts and all from his middle class upbringing to him throwing it all away and becoming the "punk warlod " in Strummers own words. To anyone who has a genuine affection for the man and his music this is a must.

What an interesting film. Totally got sucked into it - I'm a bit young to have enjoyed the Clash originally but hear the music all the time and this, well, it just gives a little bit more. Now when I hear London Calling it's going to hit that spot just a bit more perfectly!

Wow...an amazing film, totally entertaining & visually captivating. The music was fantastic throughout and the exclusive black & white footage lent a real authenticity to the viewing experience. Go see this in the theaters while you can.

Tremendously well made. Even if you barely know who Strummer is I think you'd like it. And for the ladies, there is a naked penis. I wont say if its Strummer's or not.
