With its terrible acting, stupid plot, laughable visual effects, and retarded ending, this movie makes Zombeavers look like an Oscar film!!!

Jinn is the rare coming-of-age story that doesn’t simply pat kids on the head and tell them they just need to love themselves. Instead, Mu’min holds her characters accountable for the way they discombobulate each other’s lives, while giving them the space to do better, if they can figure out what better is.

Intriguingly, Jinn makes a plea for understanding and cooperation between Muslims, Jews and Christians. Disappointingly, writer-director Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad does all too good a job burying that message within a blustering supernatural thriller.

Exceptionally bad. I was excited at the concept of this film since most Westerners don't know much about the mysterious "jinn" from desert and Islamic folklore. The actors were terrible, the music scoring sounded like something off of Spotify, the dialogue was weak and without feeling, and above all, the plot was full of holes and poor execution. It was painful to watch this cool concept get destroyed.
