Few would imagine a film shadowing a little known Irish dance competition could hook you in to relate to the dancers themselves. Jig offers itself as an eye opener to the dedication of all those involved in the fight for a first place.

Toddlers in Tiaras....with Talent! Typical edge of your seat documentary with amazing dancing by some very dedicated little boys and girls. And then there are the costumes.....and the wigs....and the bouncing parents.....

To kick Sue Bourne's documentary about the 40th Irish Dancing World Championships feels both mean and ill-advised - these people sure know how to use their tootsies.

The dancing was nice to watch and all, but there were way too many characters. I would have rather seen them dig deep into the reasons that these kids love Irish dance.

Great behind the scenes documentary concerning the competitors at the 2010 World Irish Dance Championships in Glasgow - wigs, blisters, tears and tantrums. Recommended.
