Charming and quietly provocative. It doesn't propose to say anything new -- in fact, it explicitly evokes much of earlier lesbian cinema -- but is arguably more successful in the feel-good-without-suspending-disbelief category than any of them.

This movie is so bad that it's good. I always watch this film when I want a nice, happy-go-lucky, feel-good kinda movie. It's not deep or especially sexy, but it's a sentimental favorite. The DVD comes with a full length commentary that I found most enjoyable, and surprising considering the DVD came out YEARS after the actual movie was made.

This is a great satire on homophobia in small towns. The acting is a little one dimensional in parts, but it is funny and really hits home.

Low budget lesbian film but sometimes those are the best ones. It is cute and original and very funny.
