Different take on a love story! Truly incredible story, heartwarming and cute.

A very creative concept by Joss Whedon with an equally good script. The film gets a boost from amazing honest performances by the two main actors: Zoe Kazan ("Bored To Death", Ruby Sparks") & Michael Stahl-David ("Cloverfield", "The Congress"). The rest of the cast does a good job as well. These reasons make the film enjoyable. The film is adorable and romantic, it's beautifully bright small gem. The ideas are so big yet the execution is very small, I'm not sure it that is on purpose.

Joss Whedon wrote and produced a sweet little supernatural romance for your geeky pleasure, and you don't even have to pirate it: he released it instantly on Vimeo.

Plus: Interesting concept and character's actions are believable. Minus: I really disliked the characters and as a result didn't care for the finale The concept of how two people would connect with each other if they were able to share their eyes is well done I think. I found myself agreeing with the actions being taken by these characters based on their personalities. I think the problem with this film was that I really disliked these characters. They both seemed selfish. While the movie tried to play them off as abused or mistreated (I didn't see how the husband was mistreating the main character looking back. In fact, I feel bad for him), I never felt sorry for them. So by halfway into the movie, I tuned out.

If I had not known Joss Whedon wrote this, I never would have guessed it. Plain boring movie full of ham-fisted writing, boring predictable characters, and a unexciting end. Do no recommend.
