The film is set in a small rural town that is haunted by the undead. Only one man seems to be able to stop them, and that is Lúcio, a worker whose wife recently turned into a zombie, forcing him to keep her locked in the basement. This is a very under rated movie and especially poignant for those of us in that age bracket...too old to be young and too young to be old. The performances are excellent and the script is far more accurate about older relationships than many of the attempts out there. I am surprised at the average of 3.7 but then many of those reviews may have been from younger people who just didn't quite get what the movie was striving for...a positive outlook. I liked it a lot. (I would love to have a many say "I think I'm liking you a little" at the end of a very obviously "connected" evening instead of the comments we women often get like "I'd sure like to make love to you" ...no comment and just grabbing you and kissing you. This author "got it"...

Always surprising to me that it is hard to find great movies like this. This is what a movie should be - funny, emotional, and a great story. The characters are all perfect casting. Definitely will recommend to everyone.

Beautiful indie flick with a lovely performance from Blythe Danner. Also the chemistry between her and Sam Elliot was sensational. Sam Elliot, Malin Akerman, and June Squibb lend great support with their performances.

Haley allows Danner to be exquisite as Carol, never rushing while allowing the actress to explore every nuance of her character. We casually fall in step with her, grateful to be there.
