The film is set in a small rural town that is haunted by the undead. Only one man seems to be able to stop them, and that is Lúcio, a worker whose wife recently turned into a zombie, forcing him to keep her locked in the basement. In a local tavern he finds a second shot at true love, but this blooming romance is threatened by the situation plaguing the town.

1st of all....Sam Elliott is so hot. Still got that pitter patter I got when I saw him in Lifeguard in 1975 or so. Amazing how a 30 year old man wrote this very moving story about people struggling throughwhat at 1st glance are "older people problems" but truly they are problems we often are faced with in younger years as well. Funny, sad & worth seeing for sure. All of the womeni were fantastic too but you can't blame me for the shout out to Sam :-)

I cried at the beginning, I cried at the end, I smiled in between. A great movie for the 50+ crowd (and younger people will enjoy it, too).

Beautiful indie flick with a lovely performance from Blythe Danner. Also the chemistry between her and Sam Elliot was sensational. Sam Elliot, Malin Akerman, and June Squibb lend great support with their performances.

This was shown the final evening of the Sarasota (FL) Film Festival, and it was wonderful. The audience loved it. We were screaming with laughter during some of the scenes, and the film also choked us up with tears. A fabulous,clever, heartfelt adult movie.
