Man works as a clerk in a shipping company. His life is truly non-eventful and dull, until he meets the beautiful but highly arrogant Karen. By day, Karen is a two-bit host of a home shopping network. When the sun is down, she frequents clubs and discos to fill her time and search for company. Man's affection towards Karen is obvious, but she thinks of him as nothing more than a friend, someone whom she can always rely on though not someone she will care for in return...

Not a very interesting movie. It has elements of comedy, but not really funny or interesting.

the dude's way too stupid but the movie was pretty good overall

It's the most underated, under-exposed comedy. Really good work for a first time director. Lam Chi Chung even has his own style. Unfortunately, he hasn't directed that many more movies after. Although his later one is also good.

Its a very "HK" movie about relationships. A pretty humourous movie to show the idea of nowadays relationships between friends and lovers.
