The story revolves around Maxi dela Cerna, a young, aspiring New York-based fashion designer who returns to the Philippines shortly after her mother's death to find her father. She had been swindled by her ex-boyfriend and hopes to pay off her debts by selling the piece of provincial land that her parents co-owned. But this means spending time with her father whom she hates for walking out on her and her mother 15 years ago. As the uptight and guarded Maxi struggles to immerse herself in farm life and deal with a father she despises, she crosses paths again with Tommy, her childhood friend, now an architect who is trying to heal from his own mistakes in the past with his 7-year-old son.

romantic comedy, with a couple great songs by charolette church. some funny moments as craig ferguson rides a motocyle thru a second floor window into a fountian and ends up in a loony bin. all in all a feel good movie of a father taking responsibility of daughter he never knew he had, no matter what the mother says.

This is such a sweet movie, I love watching it. It has a unique story about a girl who finds out that her real father is an 80's rock star. And once they finally meet, they help each other find their voice. It's a really good father/daughter film to watch, I hope you all netflix it :-D

I could smell the cheese from a mile away, but I really like Craig Ferguson and wanted to see if he could act, so I watched this anyway. And it's actually really not that bad, as long as you can see past the corniness. I wouldn't expect this to win any major awards or go down in history as a classic film of any kind, but if you're interested in music or any of the people involved, this is definitely worth watching.

Loved this movie! Sweet, full of hope and the voice of an angel, Charlotte Church. Craig Ferguson is such a joy to watch. His real life message of hope and recovery from the disease of alcoholism and addiction inspires.
