Contract killer Frank Zimosa has been hired for a ridiculously lucrative mission by the rich and powerful Jorge Mistrandia. The objective: kill a couple of people hiding in one of his European hotels. What would look like one of the simplest jobs Frank has ever had is about to turn into a living nightmare. He will soon realize he's nothing more than prey for Mistrandia and his army of mutated henchmen that have been hiding in the hotel along with an ancient and unstoppable horror.

I've always been intrigued by this film. Hotel Inferno tries to be a computer game, it pulls it off relatively well, the acting is terrible but I feel this is somewhat done of purpose to make it feel like a game. In places it can be quite dull but the gore is done well and is very graphic. This is not a PG 13 film; imagine Duke Nukem in a game like Fear or Condemned with an extra slab of gore. Or and extremely gruesome Stanley's Parable-Evil Dead mix. The combination of first person, use of light and sound make this a genuinely creepy experience. Worth a watch, for all game and Horror enthusiasts.

For the gore only. Occasionally fun but comes off like Sam Raimi and the first Resident Evil game had a baby.
