A torrid film that would be an early entrant in the erotic thriller genre. A bored rich housewife succumbs to the advances of an American conman she meets in the park until he kills her husband and leaves her to cover up the mess. Not Scotland Yard's best work as they seem to have quite a bit of circumstantial evidence but pass on making an arrest.

Aptly named neo noir (although with some role reversal) has a professional con man seducing the unhappy wife of a wealthy industrialist. Crown International never disappoints in delivering the more seedy aspects of the genre and this is no exception; here with a decent derivative of BODY HEAT.

This could have been so much better if they trimmed 20 minutes of nothing from it. Not a horrible watch but just very generic and just doesn't make alot of sense that our two main characters are american yet the film is set in new zealand.

A loose plot facilitates some steamy sessions in the first part of the film, although the storyline has to take over towards the end for a conclusion.
