Once in a while, after every third solar eclipse, something great happens. Man lands on the moon. Or discovers the cure for cancer. Or makes a movie so profound and unbelievable that all other movies pale in comparisson to it. If this was the case, The Godfather was made after the second solar eclipse, Amelie was made after that fated third eclipse, and Hobgoblins was made after then 37th eclipse, making this movie not special at all. This is seriously-- I cannot-- I mean, it's just so... The only reason I could sit through this mess was because of the MST3K commentary but even with it the movie too abysmal to tolerate.

Even without MST3K there was some awesome moments in this movie. You know like the complete lack of reasoning with the characters. Notable lines: "Hey! We can't drink we're underage" "Frankie we got some no ID's here" Franky wanders up " So who needed the fake IDs?" and the "Billy did I ever tell you what I did in the war?" *massive explosion*

it's pretty bad...the main character is bit of a whiney poophead and the rest of the cast are pretty lame, too. even the hobgoblins, which could have been the saving grace of the film, are pretty much free of any personality. but anyway, i don't recommend it...it's pretty awful from beginning to end.
