From its uninspired, sitcom-y look to its phoned-in dialogue (“I love you plus infinity”; “I love you plus double infinity”) to its creaky plot, Hit by Lightning is anything but electrifying.

Written and directed by Ricky Blitt starring Jon Cryer (2 And A Half Men) as Ricky Miller and his pal, Seth (Will Sasso) seeking for love. As soon as Ricky receives a response from a dating website, he immediately falls heavy over heels over her (Danita played by Stephanie Szostak) with a questionable side story history.

It's like watching an extended version of "Two and a Half Men", only not as adult.

I really enjoyed this movie, I don't understand why critics are so hard on it, what were they expecting? An academy award winning drama? It's a light hearted comedy that is guaranteed to make you laugh. I don't usually laugh in movies but this want really made me laugh out loud. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a light hearted movie and to someone who wants to laugh! What makes this movie special is the suspense, you don't really see suspense in a romantic comedy!

Great script, suspenseful, funny. Great acting by Jon Cryer and Will Sasso. Why do these low key movies with good stories and acting get overlooked by critics and audience alike??
