A Wonderful introduction to this history play. I thought it contained some of Shakespeare's most beautiful verse. It also features one of his greatest characters-Sir John Falstaff, wonderfully portrayed by Anthony Quayle. The rest of the cast is outstanding, and it shows that the British don't mess around when it comes to Shakespeare. If you're looking for productions of the history plays that make Shakespeare more comprehensible to you, pick up the BBC Shakespeare series off of Netflix.
