A film about handicap is rarely good, the message weighting a ton over story and viewing pleasure: this time it doesn't happen, Hear Me treats his characters as breathing things with tenderness and respect. Not deaf to sensibility.

keep u'r lover close,keep u'r sister closest,even if for the next life...,another beautifull movie from Taiwan,the relationship between Michelle and Ivy Chen is wonderful,their acting is a top notch and absolutely stunning,both of them deliver us the real bond between sisters that will melt your heart,The Taiwanese Goddess's (michelle chen,i mean) performance is as awesome as her movie i've seen before(You're the Apple of My Eye),Silentness isn't empty,sometimes it speaks louder beyond words...

It's a cute rom-com featuring an older sister who takes care of her younger sister (who is deaf) and meets a guy who knows sign language. While it's quite dumb that she never spoke a word just because he didn't ask, it's a necessary twist to make the story a little more exciting. The rest of the movie follows the usual romance-conflict-reconciliation pattern. But all in all, it's still cute.
