This was one of those movies that many people might say is just meh, but it offers a keen look into the psyche and gives the audience the benefit of seeing a ghost story as it unfolds through the eyes of the ghost and the living world as well. I won't add any real spoilers here. However, the acting in this is impressive, Abigail Benson offers a very good performance as the main character Lisa Johnson. Her nemesis also plays a pivitole role in the movie, and makes for a very creepy bad guy. This movie makes for a modern day, The OTHERS it was a fantastic watch, full of surreal moments and action. It might be a little slow at the start, but its a great movie for anyone interested in Haunted Houses and Ghosts.

Slow movie with little happening. Keeps you going with suspense. It's an hour into the movie when you learn about the house. Unusual ending.

A novel concept, somewhat half-assed. Natali's haunted house flick isn't without its bumps in the night; a middling pace, telegraphed jump scares and a, dare I say, haunting notion that there's a better movie underneath all of its failed ambition. McHattie steals the show, and this ghost flick is almost entirely work a recommendation for his turn as the Pale Man. 'Haunted' comes off as a bit of a wasted opportunity, serving schlock in place of suspense, nevertheless, this is unique kind of ghost story: one that's destined to give you the chills, but highly unlikely to linger.
