For me Prince is untouchable in musical matters. Even on albums that weren't that good, but what was he trying to do here? is something that perhaps can only be answered by his ego's drive. Obviously, this was much earlier, but Graffiti Bridge is to him what Glitter was to Mariah Carey.

Im a prince fan and i must say that this was a horrible movie lol. bad acting , bad plot , just bad lol

If it weren't for the music of Prince, The Time, George Clinton, and Mavis Staples, this movie would get a zero. Ridiculous premise, terrible acting, uninteresting script. Add to this the fact that it's hard to take a man seriously when he looks like Jennifer Beals in Flashdance with that loose neck shirt exposing one shoulder. I think Prince is a musical genius, and I think he should stick to just writing music.
