Great cinematography, and although the screenplay is definitely a bit weak, you're left with quite an impact anyway.

Goldstone proves a film of harsh landscapes of the physical, psychological and political kind, and of the burdened silences and pointed dialogue of a place where people hear everything but choose to say very little.

Loved it! Not often that we find a film both my husband and I agree on, but we equally enjoyed this one. Great story line, wonderful acting throughout and beautiful haunting scenery captured brilliantly with inspired cinematography. Look forward to finding other films by this director.

Ivan Sen arrives with a more engaging project, an identifiable location and genre but with a dose of character and idiosyncrasy, and this informs the performances as well .
