Goldstone proves a film of harsh landscapes of the physical, psychological and political kind, and of the burdened silences and pointed dialogue of a place where people hear everything but choose to say very little.

Great Australian landscape and solid acting but the plot has more holes than a fish net. What are those bikies doing in there at the end?

Great shots and strong characters from a part of the world I didn't know much about going in. If you enjoy solid noirs, you'll most likely enjoy Goldstone.

The best thing about the film is the mood, which resonates throughout

A bit lackluster but somehow manages to keep you on the screen with a steady but slow-paced story telling. It offers you a western flavor, but in Australian style.
