Godzilla: Planet of Monsters did a decent job setting up the world and introducing some concepts that have some real potential, but the weak character development is really a killer.

This is awful movie. Shin Godzilla is a lot better I can not believe people like movie. The story line is awful. The ending is awful.

i can't wait to see what Toho has in store for us in the sequel. Godzilla's TRUE entrance here was perhaps the most powerful entrance for the king yet.

The plot is RIDICULO! If we had the capacity for space flight and colonization, why did they decide to take only 4000 people on a "mother ship" to an interplanetary route? We could have formed space stations and bases on the moon, the asteroid belt and Mars; from there (safe bases for humanity) continue to analyze the data of Godzilla and the other kaijus, combining attacks from space. There is no reason to leave the planet and with only 4000 people, the one who thought that strategy must have been political.
