"It's all bullshit folks... And it's bad for ya." Nowhere are Carlin's words more prevalent when attached to Gasland. Being Canadian, I know there are Oil Sands projects in Northern Alberta and it's a fucking disgrace, so to have this occur over (almost) the entire U.S. is... well, another reminder that people mean nothing anymore (if we ever did). What parts of the Doc took liberties and which didn't? I don't know. I do know that there is an energy website out there debunking Gasland by arguing over details... fucking details. "Umm, the councilmen's second word, in the 59th minute, was not 'the,' therefore your film has no relevance." The film needs no words, interviews, music, or voiceover. All that's needed to see the effects of 'fracking' are the images of nature. Seeing is truly believing and.... we're all going to be extinct so Kanye (insert any douche-bag here) can driver his hummer.

A really interessting film about the exploitation of natural gas in the US. A dirty process, where a thousands and thousands of small gaswells are popping up all over the US. Being sold as a clean alternative to the "terror oil" from Saudi Arabia, but in reality it puts the wellbeing and life of ordinary citizens in jeopardy. a must see!

A straightforward film about the way that the USA is now treated as an industrial production facility, the way Cheney has been key to attempts to both wreck the country and turn it into a corporate North Korea and the small hope that ordinary people can stand against the tide. Inspiring.
