Follow the Fleet (1936)

When the US Navy fleet docks at San Francisco, sailor Bake Baker tries to rekindle the flame with his old dancing partner, Sherry Martin, while Bake's buddy Bilge Smith romances Sherry's sister, Connie. But it's not all smooth sailing—Bake has a habit of losing Sherry's jobs for her and, despite Connie's dreams, Bilge is not ready to settle down.

I would classify this as one of the better Fred and Ginger movies! They have some amazing dances and the score is fantastic! There are some slow parts with her sister and his friend but you can just zip right through them and get back to the good stuff.

I think this is the best Astaire / Rogers in terms of kooky / quirky banter. I especially love the song / dance number they rehearse, doing different things at the same time.
