First Descent (2005)

The Alaskan runs are often spectacular, resembling nothing so much as a controlled plummet down an avalanche. All of which is worth the price of admission if "stoked" is a regular part of your vocabulary.

Though I admire the athletes, the film failed to capture my interest in them or the sport.

I was expecting more of a movie, not a documentary-type thing.. But the snowboarding footage was SO awesome! I snowboard myself.. I hope someday to get the guts to do something like that!
