The sweetness and good nature of this film won me over, after a slowish start. The leftfield vignettes and eccentric dialogue make for a taste that didn't take me long to acquire - and Arakawa in particular is a winning performer, in his goofy way.

A charming and funny tale of a bunch of sadsack losers piecing their lives together, Fine, Totally Fine combines slapstick and poignancy to create a gently beguiling romantic comedy.

This great comedy's story is of 2 friends who find themselves at odds with each other when they both fall for a clumsy accident prone woman. It's a very original, charming and refreshing tale. It works well as the film makers kept it simple. Even Tanaka from Downtown's Gaki No Tsukai has a nice role. Recommended.

Your typical "quirky character, slice-of-life comedy"--amusing enough but lacking the heart/depth that distinguishes quality films within the genre. I don't think I'd watch it again.
