An undeniably heartfelt if overlong affair, especially for the uninitiated.

I've now seen this film twice and look forward to watching it again! It's an emotional and moving account of Appalachian musicians who play with pure joy. The young kids steal the show and will steal your heart as well! It's rare to want to see a film more than once, but this is one I could see over and over.

The performances here, gathered mostly at campsight jam sessions, under the various meet-and-pick tents all over Felts Park in Galax, or on the stages there, are just jaw dropping.

From the toe tapping music to the heartfelt stories, this film will make you laugh, cry and inspire you to live life to fullest! If you aren’t a fan of Old Time and Bluegrass music, you will be by the end of Fiddlin’.
