I had so much hope for this movie, but it felt so padded. A movie that is barely an hour and a half should not be this padded. Had this been a one hour TV movie, it would have been so much better, because the moments that are in here are great moments, but they do not justify the entire hour and a half.

A classic of camp horror, the great Tallulah Bankhead is simply marvelous as the twisted antithesis of her private persona.

Its too campy to be taken seriously, but its too dull to be laughed at for being campy. Tallulah Bankhead is good though, in one of her last roles before she died.

Superb psychological horror from the unbeatable tram of Richard Matheson and Hammer Films. Easily the best of Hammer's What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?/Psycho influenced films. Always great to see Donald Sutherland.
