It started off very well with an intriguing plot, but it went aboslutely nowhere. The ending was terrible. After viewing it, I thought there was some kind of unspoken twist, something you had to figure, but there wasn't. Solid acting, McGregor does a good job like always, but not recommended.

this movie will haunt you to your dying day. i'm obsessed with it and the book it's based on. it's not for everybody, but those who like it will never forget it.

Read the "plot" by putting your cursor over the "poster" picture. It helps understand what's going on. One star for Ewan McGregor British Intelligence Agent- excellent; one star for Ashley Judd black widow murderess- also amazing. If you miss the line when the daughter tells McGregor to pity Judd, you'll be lost for the rest of the movie.
