The point of Randall Moore's movie is to wake people up to the fact that their mercury dental fillings might be killing them, and he uses about every trick in the book to achieve his goal; to conclude otherwise falls on the pedantic side of the fence. The movie clearly reveals that mercury poisoning from dental fillings can be devastating on the lives of some people, and that this travesty has been going on since the early 1800's. Anyone who is ill, gets sick regularly, or has a condition/disease that the healthcare industry has given a fancy name, needs to see this movie. I'm calling 'Evidence of Harm' a borderline horror film; it has me wondering why people aren't up in arms over the mass poisoning of the citizens of our great nation. I want to scream from the hills, "Get the poisoned dental fillings out of your mouth!" If the movie 'The Warriors,' where the protagonists wrongly accused of murder only live by their own wits, and the academy award winning documentary 'Scared Straight' had a baby, this film is it.

Thank you SO much for making this movie! A terrific documentary on how we are being poisoned by amalgams used for fillings that are causing a HOST of diseases and disorders and discomfort! Well put together and filmed, definitely WORTH seeing!! Share this film and info with everyone--you have NO idea how much you may be helping someone!

Since his due-diligence efforts were rebuffed by the American Dental Assn. and the Food and Drug Administration in their declining of interview requests, director Randall Moore doubles down on the already ex parte narrative with heavy-handed editorializing.

What an important film. I am certain the American Dental Association is not happy about being busted on their pro-mercury policies. I always thought of them as a pretty benign organization, but it is clear that they have an agenda that is affecting the health of millions of people in the US. I noticed the critic, Tsai, was distracted by the imagery in this film. It seems like he must have just watched the film without listening. I thought the imagery was appropriate, especially for the seriousness of the situation. As some of the victims spoke about their own experience, the filmmaker showed images that illustrated what the people were feeling. I thought the images were better than just watching them speak. The portrayal of the three people in the film was very touching, and the facts given about the situation of mercury in dentistry are easy to understand and actually very disturbing. This film needs to be seen by EVERY parent. This film needs to be seen by EVERY dental student in America.
