As a newer Fishbone fan, watching this documentary made me appreciate the persistence of Fishbone and admire them for being who they are. Individuals who came together as friends and paved a new path for ALL musicians. Regardless if you love or hate Fishbone, you have to respect what they have done for music and for american culture.

I have always loved Fishbone, this documentary is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. It cuts to the core of music as pure art and how the masses are unable to accept truth in art. Fishbone were true artists, and it was amazing to learn about their formative years, and admire their courage to approach their art without any boundaries. It really is an enlightening look into what it means to be a "rock band" and a lot of all the different ways things can go great, or go wrong. If you like Fishbone, or you are in a band yourself, or interested in seeing some of what it might be like to be in a band over an extended period of time, this is a great watch.

This documentary is epic . If you're a not a fishbone fan you'll love it.(if you're not a fishbone fan there's something wrong with you) But for a fan it is wonderful. It answers all the questions you wanted to know about kendall's departure and the history of the band period . Lots of great interviews with all sorts of rockstars such as gwen stefani,perry farrel ,les claypool, and narrarated by lawrence fishburne. Definitley worth checking out.
