A film that is at points torn between the documentary filmmaking tradition and launching a hashtag-ready movement.

Leigh Paatsch 03 Aug 2016

A highly accessible and refreshingly honest Australian-made documentary, Embrace is transmitting a valuable message all women should be hearing loud and clear.

Leslie Felperin 12 Jan 2017

It has an indisputably worthy message, and should be essential viewing for young people.

Claudette A 12 May 2017

A movie about educating women to love the body they have, instead of trying to get the glossy magazine body.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED this movie. In every way this movie spoke volumes on so many levels about our culture and how it shapes how we view others...and most strikingly how we can degrade ourselves. Even when our natural state is love others and ourselves. Incredible message and incredibly well done.
