It was a decent movie, but it could have been so much better, in my opinion. It had the "made for TV" feel to it, and with some more creativity, it could have been a really awesome movie. It never really explained why Darla seemed to be so wacked out, and the ending sucked, which is why I didn't give it but 3 stars. It's worth a watch, but this movie isn't one I will be adding to my collection.

Monday, January 31, 2011 (2009) Elsewhere THRILLER/ SUSPENSE/ MYSTERY Watchable straight-to-rental Nancy Drew like mystery thriller about a couple of missing teens and the one looking for one of them who is the stars best friend! Expect plot holes, logic and the fact that viewers may be able to guess the perpetrators doing this before the star herself even knows herself! 2.5 out of 4

This was quite impressive. Full of suspense at times, with wonderings... Not bad at all... Obviously low budget, but only from the settings that gave it charm. I loved it & if you are a fan of horror or just suspense I say try it out!

This movie involving a serial killer manages to go the whole film without showing a single killing which is kinda impressive.

Where do I find these movies? And why do I even bother finishing them? Elsewhere is just another teen mystery/thriller. Tania Raymonde disappears after a date with a mysterious man she met on line. It's up to her best friend, played by Anna Kendrick, to find her. Did she run away? Or did something more sinister occur? You can probably guess. The film is flashy enough,but feels more like a TV show than a film. Sadly, the acting and writing are the most notably awful elements here, from Kendrick's wooden delivery of painully banal dialogue, to the wholly routine and predictable ending.
