Very unique insight of a derange man living with very normal people, I am very surprised he did not sexually assault some of his victims.

Not for the squeamish, not for children, but definitely for me. This horror flick was based on the real thing. Watch it, and see if you don't have to think about it a bit!

These live action quasi-documentaries are always questionable. It does a very basic job with no backstory of showing some of the torture and murder. It takes place directly during the time and in the location of the torture and murders. Some of the scenes are dragged out. I think some are unnecessary. And the film for some reason got a lower violence rating than the R rating, it initially called. It's somewhat graphic, as this story is the precursor and the basis and inspiration for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series. While very few elements carried over into the actual series, the original and real plot was a lot more simpler and realistic.

Has some good moments, but overall is a bit dull. Takes liberties with the story and not in the good way necessarily. Making Ed Gein a giant was a dumb decision, although Kane Hodder did a good job, the only thing is that Eddie wasn't a hulking giant.
