Obviously 'arty' in nature, it still tries for new ways to frame ideas. For that it is to be commended. Better go see it for yourself.

Whoa! This is a total unknown classic. This shows what cinema is all about. it is cinema poetry. It was made by a group of some of the early famous modern artist such as Man Ray tec. Surreal, crazy and influential.

This would probably get slammed nowadays, but the for the time it was produced it is a surrealist masterpiece that certainly needs to be watched more than once to make any sense of it.

Hans Richter's experimental film is a veritable who-who of the avant-garde community in the 1940's; even torch singer Libby Holman is heard on the soundtrack singing "The Girl With The Pre-Fabricated Heart." Historically important.
