Barney writes in the press kit that the heart of the piece is 'the relationship between self-imposed resistance and creativity.' Okay, fine. But do we care? Not this reviewer.

All a bit mental yentl but that's Mister Bjork for you. Loved seing the exhibition at SFMOMA that pulls from this. Compulsive... but bum numbing as a film. You want to get up and go look at a lump of ambergris, for example, in the gallery every once in a while.

Look at it like its your first time eating sushi. You either love it, hate it or just confuse over whatever the f**k it was. I enjoyed this movie actually, its kinda like being in a surreal dream.

Unable to find any vendor in town who had any idea of this film's existence, I resorted to downloading a torrent of this film, and I do not regret it. Many people wouldn't understand this film, it is nothing that would ever show in theaters, but as both a video artist and a fan of Barney's work, I was captivated (god I sound like a real life critic)... There was beautiful subtle imagery perfectly matched with Bjork's well-thought musical score -- I thought it was great.
