not many people have seen this one, which is such a shame. despite the silent film medium de Heer has managed to convey both humor and suspense. very entertaining, but perhaps just a little too long.

A very original movie (for today) filmed as a silent, black and white Buster Keaton style. It's the story of a scientist who mistakenly calculates that the world will end in 100 years and sets out to prove it with a home-built time machine.
