Movie is brilliant but two things really moved me First is Penelope Cruz at the conference, pay attention at her in the restaurant (with hair gathered up) this is the best moment of her acting carrier Second is the song by Totto Cotugno Gli Amori These are the things I loved most but there is beauty in this movie in every dialogue and frame

i had forgotten this movie existed until i saw it today at 4:00 am. what a wonderful story, the timeline is impecable and this movie has the most heartrending end ever. in my humble opinion, this is penelope cruz's most glorious performance. outstanding.

Saw this movie last night and have not been able to stop thinking about it ever since. It is brilliantly scripted and shot. I frankly had no idea that Penelop Cruz had it in her to deliver such a performance. You haven't seen a movie about a passionate obsessive love affair until you've seen this one. I loved it and I plan on looking up all of Castellitto's other work. I'm not sure how this one made it past the Oscars. Find it and watch it. One tip: watch it in Italian with subtitles. No voice overs/translations.
