To paraphrase something Parton once said about herself: It may look fake, but it's real where it counts. What counts most is the acting, which lends the story a naturalism that the script can't.

Very good. Even though I cried through pretty much the whole thing. I can forgive the HEAVY religious tones, unlike some other reviews, because that is how they lived. If you discount this story because of that, I guess it's your loss.
