While Do I Sound Gay? provides an entertaining and humorous look at Thorpe's gradual self-acceptance, its unfocused narrative and lack of depth only hint at a subject that runs much deeper.

This movie moves a bit beyond self-indulgence with some general insights on how voices are portrayed in film historically. Dan Savage and David Sedaris have some interesting contributions. And we get to see David's sweetie Hugh for the first time. Stream this flick.
